Actuator
Head Up display sub
Introduction (Functions)
A module enabling angular implementation of HUD systems, which display various vehicle information needed for safety and convenience of a driver onto the windshield to keep driver’s attention to the road ahead.
Core Competencies (Key Features)
- Longevity and durability
- Automotive step motor
- Low noise and vibration
- Excellent positioning accuracy
Application
Head Up Display
Active air flap Actuator
Introduction (Functions)
A system that controls the flap between the radiator grills and the radiator. During high-speed driving, it receives a command from EMS to close the flap, which reduces air resistance and increases fuel efficiency. Additionally, if the engine room temperature reaches dangerous levels, it opens the flaps to bring the temperature down.
Core Competencies (Key Features)
- A LIN communicable design, which receives EMS commands, controls the flap, and sends the position and the status of the flap
- Ability to estimate the position of the flap by the number of control pulses of the step motor and perform open loop controls
- Fail-safe function to remove external factors such as icing, dust, and grit
- Protection against high and low voltages, high temperatures, high current (out-of-phase and stall), reverse voltage, disconnection, and short circuits
- Watchdog function to monitor malfunctions in MCU caused by ESD, external clock input, etc.
Application
Automotive actuators
